Quintessential MS Mathematics: Gamified Level 7, Part One
Gamification brings Math alive! During the heart of the Middle School years, fostering a love for the fascinating world of mathematics is vitally important. This course takes students on Quests to build mathematical skills in Rational Numbers, Expressions, Equations, Inequalities, Ratios, and Proportional Relationships. Help your student find the joy of learning!
Special Notes: As a GAMIFIED course, students learn through a variety of assignments that include games. This is Part One of a 2-part course. In addition to class instruction, there will be pre-recorded video lessons.

Course Description: This is a sound and comprehensive instructional journey in a gamified format. Math can be interesting and fun! Weekly Quests include videos, class instruction, colorful textbook assignments, workbook assignments, Quizlet, & games/puzzles. During Part One of this course your student will advance and solidify their knowledge of mathematics, problem-solving, and vocabulary related to Rational Numbers, Expressions, Equations, Inequalities, Ratios, and Proportional Relationships. In addition to the daily homework and making use of the tools mentioned above, there will be four Section Tests and a Final Exam. Following this course, your student can continue exploring the exciting world of gamified math with Quintessential MS Mathematics: Gamified Level 7, Part Two.

Classes 1-3: Adding and Subtracting Rational Numbers
Classes 4-6: Multiplying and Dividing Rational Numbers
Classes 7-9: Expressions, Equations, and Inequalities
Classes 10-12: Ratios and Proportional Relationships
Class 13: Course Review and Final Exam

NOTE: Free student accounts are available. This is an additional study resource and not part of Moodle.
Homework: Weekly homework will be detailed on a daily basis and will include instructional videos, textbook reading & exercises, class instruction, workbook exercises, Quizlet practice, games/puzzles, and when there isn’t a test or exam there is a quiz.
This makes for 8 quizzes, 4 Section Tests, and a Final Exam all on Moodle.
Students should expect to put in a minimum of one hour a day, five days a week for the coursework.
Parents should note that the answer keys in each book are for the student’s use to check themselves as they practice their daily work.
