Course Description: This course gives an overview of various terms, definitions, and examples of fallacies in logic (that is, general kinds of bad arguments), with the aim to improve the student's reasoning skills and ability to recognize logical errors whenever and wherever they arise.

Day 1: Introduction to Fallacies

Days 2 and 3: Specific Fallacies and Examples

Day 4: Conclusion and Review

Course Materials: All materials provided FREE by the instructor as downloadable PDF files.

Homework: There will be a big test at the end of the course, graded by the computer for immediate feedback.  Extra Credit: Students will be encouraged to come up with their own examples of fallacies, which the teacher may present in the classroom for discussion.
