Course description: The renaissance was a time of great change, the entire medieval worldview broken apart as great discoveries in the stars, upon the earth, and in the smallest molecules bring about a re-conception of the universe. We will be going through these discoveries, and discussing the social and historical implications of them.

Course materials: Readings will be provided FREE by the instructor as PDF files.

Homework: Expect to spend about 45 minutes of reading each week plus a weekly quiz (computer graded for immediate feedback).
