Course Description: "There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, in the end, 'Thy will be done.'" There lies the choice of the characters in C. S. Lewis's The Great Divorce, and with us as well. Join Mr. Pyne in this six-week course unpacking the literary and theological implications of this unique work by the creator of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Screwtape Letters.

Course Materials: The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis (any unabridged edition).

Homework:  Weekly reading of the primary text is expected, as well as supplied secondary sources (usually through PDF files provided free by the instructor), which expound on particular themes or ideas presented in the text. Weekly automated quizzes for immediate feedback.
