How to get the most out of Wheelock's Second Year Latin, Part One with Mrs. Henry:

Recording: Always begin each lesson by watching the class recordings first
Note taking: Be sure to take good notes while you watch the recordings
Checklists: After the lessons, use the to-do list to help you stay organized
Homework: Work on the corresponding homework assignment(s), quizzes, etc.
Review: If you are confused about what you learned, re-watch parts of the recording for clarity. It's also helpful to read corresponding chapters in the book. This will help students process the same information in multiple ways (audible learners vs. visual learners, etc.).
Pace: You may work at your own pace. Students are encouraged to complete one class per week
Answer Key: Many of the assignments are automatically graded by our LMS or answers are provided in the class recordings. But if you would like more assistance with your homework translations, you can sign up for Instructor Access. Mrs. Henry will offer feedback, assistance, and grade assignments.
