How to get the most out of Math Boot Camp with Emily Nardozzi:
- Have a notebook ready and available for class notes during each lesson.
- Watch that day's recording and then take the quiz that accompanies the recording. Retake the quizzes as many times as necessary until you achieve 100%.
- Once you have watched all recordings, take the final test.
- Once the course is completed to the parent's and professor’s satisfaction, there is a Certificate of Completion at the end to be filled in for your records.

Prerequisite: Has completed at least a 5th grade level math course
Suggested Grade Level: Rising 6th, 7th, or 8th grade
Suggested Credit: 1/2 semester Math Prep
- Day One: Represent and name decimals in words and numerically. Perform the four basic operations using decimals.
- Day Two: Use equivalent fractions to represent the same value and write fractions in simplest form. Convert between mixed numbers and improper fractions.
- Day Three: Perform the four basic operations using fractions.
- Day Four: Convert between decimals and fractions.
- Day Five: Represent values using percents. Convert between decimals, fractions, and percents.
- Day Six: Continue to work on understanding of equivalent percents, decimals and fractions.
- Day Seven: Properly evaluate expressions using the appropriate order of operations.
- Day Eight: Review
Course Materials: None. All course materials are provided free by the teacher.
Homework: There is no textbook homework. At the end of each day (except Day 6) there will be an online quiz that students will take to allow them to assess how well they understood the material. This quiz should not take more than 15 minutes. Quizzes are self grading, so no answer key is required for this course.
