Moodle is being replaced with Caravel, our new learning website. New courses should be taken in Caravel.

To move to Caravel:

1. Have a parent create a Caravel account. Caravel only uses one account per family. You do not need to create multiple accounts for Live courses, Recorded courses, or for each student.

2. Click the "Subscribe" button on the Caravel Dashboard, to link your Unlimited Access subscription.

3. Click the "Students" button on the Caravel Dashboard, to create student profiles for each child in Caravel, which can then be enrolled into courses. 

4. Click the "Catalog" tab, click "Unlimited Access courses," and enroll your children in their courses.

Homeschool Connections.

Currently, you can access your recorded courses in this platform but as of August 16th, 2024, you will be able to access them in Caravel.

For now, you can access your recorded courses here and...

• Get access to your course recordings
• Get your course assignments
• View your course's resources
• Turn in your assignments
• Take your quizzes and exams (if included in the course)
• See how to contact your instructor 
• And find all that you need, to have a great learning experience.
  

A Message for Students 
Taking Recorded Courses...

Your Recorded Courses are designed to be self-paced. That means you can watch your courses at a pace that suits your learning style, at any time of day, with 24/7 access, at any location with Internet access.

 "Where do I find my Recorded courses?"

Your Recorded courses can be found under the My Courses section, below. The title of each course will say Recorded in the title. Following your subscription, you received an email with the "enrollment key" to gain access to any course. Simply check your email for details. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to contact us -- we're happy to help!

 "Can I get a teacher to grade my coursework?"

Yes! Most Recorded Courses offer grading support known as Instructor Access. With Instructor Access, you'll get one-on-one help from professional, subject-specific instructors -- with email conversation, personal feedback, and complete grading of your student's coursework. To see a list of the courses offering Instructor Access, please click on this link and visit the Recorded Course Catalog.
