(German I; Part Two)
This course requires an enrollment key Course description: This course will cover a year’s worth of German in two parts, Fall and Spring -- 12 weeks each for a total of 24. We will use the approach of learning the language through music, story-telling, and poetry. Each class will consist of vigorous grammar drills, a quiz, cultural activities, and story-telling. At the end of the year, the student should be able to carry out short conversations in German and write short, simple stories. This will be tested with a final exam. Note: The instructor plans to offer second year German during the 2011/2012 school year.
Homework: Composition, translation, and memorization of grammar charts and rules and of various German poems and songs.
